Fall Update

Hello Skiers --

Measurable snow is in our neighborhood! Mad River and Greensboro both had a couple of inches of snow last night, with more expected throughout the week.  A couple of upcoming events you should put down on your calendars:

1. The Onion River Ski Swap will be held on November 2 from 9 to 12 AM with drop offs during the week prior.

2. Our local Olympian and rock star role model ski lady, Liz Stephen, is coming to town before heading to Europe for the first group of World Cup Races leading up to the 2014 Olympics in Socchi Russia. Our friends at Fresh Tracks Farm will be hosting a fundraiser on the evening of November 7. Details to follow, but clear your calendars.

3. With snow in the air, and downed leaves, it's time to prep the Morse Farm trails for the upcoming season. There will be a volunteer trail work day on Sunday, November 10 from 9 to 12 followed by a club-sponsored chili lunch.  Word on the streets is that Liz may make an appearance to say howdy and sign a few posters.

Lastly, we will be holding a Parents' night for folks interested our Bill Koch youth ski league program. Date, time and place to follow.
