Bill Koch League Youth Program

ORN strives to support our next generation of skiers by creating a fun-filled environment where nordic skiing can be learned, enjoyed and respected as a lifelong sport. Our kid's program, called the Bill Koch League (BKL), meets on Sunday afternoons when experienced club members, with help from parents of the participants, will provide hands-on instruction and guidance for kids of all ages and abilities.  Read more about our program below and then Click Here to Register for the Sunday BKL program online.

Be sure to check out our FAQ's for information about equipment and clothing etc.

Sunday Afternoon Kids Program

For all levels of skiers, aged 5 to 13 (K-8th grade), this weekly program will develop the technique, agility and balance of young skiers through drills, games, and exploration of ski trails in the Montpelier area. (Please note that for the youngest beginner skiers (K-1st grade), a parent or guardian is required to accompany the child. At that age they may need one-on-one assistance.)  We focus primarily on the classic technique during the Sunday sessions.  We rely on parent volunteers to help at these sessions, so please sign up to help on the registration page!
