(From Montpelier Parks)
Now that temps are into positive territory, it’s time for a grooming update! Conditions are on the chilly side today but should be really great tomorrow.
Parks: North Branch Park & NBNC groomed a few days ago. Upper trails in NB not groomed, but packed in by MAMBA and users. Word is that fat biking conditions are the best of the season right now. Hubbard Park was groomed yesterday but there are lots of wind-blown branches throughout the trails.
North St./Morse Farm: Groomed on Thursday with tracks laid throughout, conditions are still pretty good. Parking lots plowed at Cummings Rd. and Country Rd. across from the gray barn.
Country Club Rd. Site: Last groomed on Thursday, hard packed and fast.
Here’s a summary of where dogs can and cannot go:
Parks: Dogs welcome — on leash at NB Park and off-leash in Hubbard (please follow Canine Code of Conduct)
NBNC: Dogs on leash
North St./Morse Farm: No dogs. Please respect this because all trails are on private land and public access is granted through their generous permission.
CCR: Dogs allowed on-leash around outer multi-use trail.
